As a Senior Java Engineer at SWATX, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications that drive our initiatives. Your expertise will guide the team in implementing best practices, optimizing performance, and delivering high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and ensure seamless integration with front-end systems. Requirements • Proven experience as a Java Developer (5+ years required). • Strong proficiency in core Java, including Java 8 or higher. • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JavaServer Faces (JSF). • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs. • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in a collaborative environment. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile teams is a plus.
