The Senior Specialist – Assets Infrastructure Operations is responsible for managing the compute, storage, virtualization, and backup infrastructure within on-premises data centers. This includes lifecycle management of servers, storage systems, VMware/Nutanix platforms, hardware assets, and backup operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, monitor, and manage infrastructure assets including but not limited to computer, storage, virtualization, and backups. Operate and maintain VMware and Nutanix environments in production and DR sites. Track and follow up on infrastructure-related incidents, ensuring closure within defined KPIs and SLAs. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of all infrastructure assets. Coordinate vendor support, contract renewals, and warranty tracking for infrastructure hardware. Participate in infrastructure budget planning for refresh cycles, support contracts, and capacity expansion. Support infrastructure capacity planning and optimization in collaboration with systems and applications teams. Ensure compliance with operational policies, security standards, and audit requirements. Monitor performance and availability against KPIs and drive improvement where needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT service management or related areas.
