Assistant Machine Operator - Metal Fabrication

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled Machine Operator specializing in Laser, Punching, and Bending Machines to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced machinery to produce high-quality metal components for various applications. Your expertise in operating and maintaining laser cutting, punching, and bending machines will be crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate laser, punching, and bending machines according to work instructions. Inspect and clean metal sheets, ensuring they are free of splinters, dust, and unwanted residues. Check necessary measurements to maintain high-quality finishing standards. Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting when needed. Coordinate with the warehouse to receive and manage materials. Follow production schedules to meet output deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area while strictly adhering to safety procedures. Requirements High School Diploma or vocational certificate in a technical field. Minimum 3 years of experience operating laser, punching, or bending machines. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions. Physically capable of reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting medium to heavy objects. Good English communication skills. Benefits Salary: SAR 5,900/month

Roles & Responsibilities Operate a skid steer (bobcat) to load, transport, and unload materials. Operate mobile or fixed cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads. Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on both skid steer and crane equipment. Ensure all loads are secure and properly balanced before moving or lifting. Work in coordination with ground crews and other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow all safety regulations, site policies, and operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of operations, loads moved, and equipment inspections. Identify and report any faults or safety hazards immediately. Support general site operations as needed. Desired Candidate Profile Valid skid steer operator certification. Current Crane Operator Licence (e.g., C6, C1, CO – depending on load capacity). Proven experience operating both skid steer and cranes in a construction, industrial, or transport setting. Strong understanding of load management, lifting techniques, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret load charts and lifting plans. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
