The compressor was replaced by the LG authorized service center on August 5th under warranty, and the invoice is available and will be handed to the buyer for warranty purposes. The refrigerator is now like new and has 4 months of warranty remaining on the new compressor, with the invoice available. The reason for replacing the old compressor was a manufacturing defect. The reason for selling is that a larger two-door refrigerator has been purchased.
