In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the main deterrents preventing them from acting on many impulses—even when they personally believe in them. Here, individuals often consider "what people will say" to a degree that may exceed their concern for themselves, from daily actions to life-changing decisions. Many of us don't necessarily see this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus, it's not entirely within their control to disregard others' opinions about them. We will explore this topic from entirely different angles, attempting to dive deep into the idea to broaden our perspectives and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labels. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest ideas, then switch to a new partner until six rounds are completed.
