What We Are Looking For Persado is seeking an Arabic (Eastern Gulf dialect) Content Localiser & Proofreader to join our growing team as a Freelance Contractor. This role focuses on content tailored for the dialect spoken in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia along the Arabian Gulf. What You Will Work On Collaborate with Brand Content Strategists to understand client requirements and campaign objectives. Assist in crafting compelling content that inspires action, ensuring adherence to brand voice and tone. Carefully proofread and edit content to ensure flawless spelling, grammar, and syntax for the Gulf dialect-speaking audience. Ensure that client revisions and tone of voice guidelines are accurately implemented. Ensure compliance with our clients' complex brand guidelines and legal requirements. Support with content harmonization where overlap with other regional dialects exists. What You Bring 1. Language & Expertise Exceptional command of Arabic and the Eastern Gulf dialect, with a deep understanding of usage in regions along the Arabian Gulf. A background in Arabic Language, Translation, Linguistics, Journalism, or a related field is highly preferred. Flawless writing and proofreading skills tailored to the Eastern dialect (Gulf dialect), with strong attention to detail and a commitment to content quality. Knowledge of other Arabic dialects (Hijazi, Najdi, Northern, or Southern) is a strong plus. 2. Experience & Industry Knowledge 2-4 years of copywriting/proofreading experience Experience in B2C digital marketing or advertising Familiarity with brands that have a strict tone of voice and legal guidelines Awareness of cultural references, media, and local expressions common to Eastern Gulf Saudi Arabia 3. Job Purpose The role holder is responsible for supporting in managing of registration and all communications with ZATCA in terms of VAT. The role holder is also responsible for supporting in responding to the inquiries of ZATCA regarding VAT and communicating with the technical team to request and prepare the required reports. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures. Job Responsibility Support and facilitate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, regulators, ZATCA. Support training and building of awareness in the finance and business teams about indirect tax compliance and process improvement. Support the implementation of the indirect tax strategy.
