PURPOSE & SCOPE: The Senior Instrumentation Project Engineer will oversee instrumentation projects from inception through design to implementation, ensuring that all technical aspects are executed in accordance with project specifications and company standards.   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Lead and manage the execution of instrumentation projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and engineering standards. ·         Develop, review, and approve instrumentation specifications and design documents. ·         Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers to ensure project integration. ·         Perform site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data for project planning. ·         Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. ·         Manage and perform technical evaluations for procurement of instrumentation equipment and services. ·         Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clarity and satisfaction regarding project deliverables. ·         Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle. ·         Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. Project Management: Lead and manage instrumentation aspects of pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Design and Engineering: Develop and review detailed instrumentation designs, specifications, and drawings for pipeline systems. Construction Oversight: Supervise the installation and commissioning of instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including construction, electrical, mechanical, and piping engineers, to ensure seamless project execution. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding instrumentation-related matters, providing technical support and addressing concerns.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ·         Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. ·         Minimum of 15 years in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity focusing on instrumentation within pipeline projects. ·         Comprehensive understanding of instrumentation design, installation, and operational standards. ·         Strong understanding of pipeline construction and operations. ·         Familiarity with international standards and codes related to instrumentation and pipeline systems. ·         Proficient in using software and tools relevant to instrumentation engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, INTOOLS).   Requirements   Benefits Salary is not a constraint ,company is looking for right candidate .

Leads the design team in undertaking technical design reviews to ensure compliance with all Project Requirements and Strategy, Project, Design and Development Briefs, including innovation, optioneering and value engineering.  Leads the team to ensure design deliverables are provided by the design consultants in accordance with their contract, district and sub-district program requirements. Collaborates closely with various internal departments, clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to fully understand project requirements and create innovative design solutions that satisfy client requirements and local codes and standards. Effectively manage the required interfaces to raise possible impacts to project programs, budgets and quality issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and integration of various design elements to achieve seamless progression from design, construction to final handover. Proactively monitors and tracks project progress, promptly identify and resolve any design-related challenges or conflicts that may arise and report timeously on these. Efficiently manages and maintains meticulous project documentation, including design records, change orders, and necessary approvals. Initiate and chair meetings with the client, consultants, design team and stakeholders whilst capturing minutes of meetings as necessary. Manages all matters related to design being ‘fit for purpose’ specifically ‘Safety in Design’.  Leads the design sign off process by all design consultants / sub-contract designers.  Ensures quality assurance processes are in place to review design deliverables and ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards and regulatory requirements.  Ensures the team designs according to the cost/business plan, system and operations plan.  Assists Cost Consultants assess the cost of design changes and track accordingly ensuring proper change management processes are adhered to throughout the design process.  Oversees production of Work Breakdown Structure for design/engineering deliverables which is suitable for production of design documentation and is in accordance with procurement, construction staging and project phasing requirements.  Oversees the governance of Shared and Published information within the district and all the Sub-Districts. Facilitates the coordination of interfaces between projects within the district and all the Sub-Districts. Infrastructure. Assists with the evaluation of RFP proposals and provides necessary support to the various business teams. Assists, prepares and presents both progress reports and stage gate presentations for each project, highlighting key milestones, challenges, programmes, designs, costs / budgets and achievements. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, with minimum 10 years, preferably 15 years, work experience in Dry utilities (Electrical HV, MV, LV and Streetlighting) networks, and telecom ducting network design Strong technical review skills, including detailed engineering drawings, calculations and models Experience in integrated land development project with excellent understanding of interdisciplinary coordination, including Rights of way sections. Experience in Dialux, ETAP software and BIM Knowledge of KSA authority regulations and previous experience of liaising with and obtaining approval from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) An Engineering Master’s degree would be an advantage. Any other relevant post-graduate degrees/diplomas would also be an advantage. Professional registration in respective discipline (i.e. Chartered Engineer or similar) is necessary. Registration as a Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an advantage. A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in dry utilities project management. Proven experience planning, designing and delivery of large-scale and complex dry utilities projects. Possess a strong knowledge of design principles, techniques, and best practices related to dry utilities. Able to define design criteria, specifications and operational requirements. Experience in delivery to program, balancing competing requirements on project to deliver design outcome (e.g. cost v. time v. quality).  Previous KSA/Middle East experience will be an advantage. Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors would be an advantage. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget is necessary. Experience in coordinating and executing design activities, managing design consultants, engaging with stakeholders and coordinating design team members is crucial for this role. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and deliver results.   You should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively articulate ideas, strategies and project performance to a range of audiences, such as; clients, consultants, contractors, multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
