Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Specialist - Data Steward to join our robust data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of our data assets across various business units. By establishing and managing data governance frameworks, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of data stewardship, enabling our organization to make informed and data-driven decisions. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee data governance policies and procedures to guarantee data quality, consistency, and security throughout the organization. Collaborate effectively with business leaders to understand high-level business requirements, documenting outcomes and decisions in line with established standards and methodologies. Engage with a diverse group of professionals, including business architects, data scientists, and visualization experts, to provide comprehensive analytical solutions. Identify and address root causes of data quality issues, offering constructive feedback to the appropriate teams. Implement corrections for data quality issues and suggest improvements. Assist in monitoring key performance indicators, responding to alerts from various sectors, and proactively tackling data-related problems. Support auditing processes to ensure compliance with data protection standards, particularly in handling personal data, in accordance with NDMO regulations. Conduct necessary Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA). Communicate effectively with Qiddiya staff and data handlers, providing timely advice and proposals for quick adaptations in various situations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology More than 3 years of experience in roles related to data governance, data management, or data quality Thorough understanding of the data lifecycle Familiarity with data governance principles Knowledge of best practices in data analysis and proficiency in programming languages Excellent communication and relationship management skills Benefits Comprehensive benefits package
