Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of elevators and escalators to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards are met. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, using specialized tools to perform repairs promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to facilitate major repairs or upgrades to elevator systems. Desired Candidate Profile High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance or a related field is essential. Relevant certifications, such as National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP) or equivalent, are highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for various elevator systems.
