For the first use after purchase, every six months, or when moving the machine from one city to another, calibration is required. To calibrate, open the top lid and fill the reservoir with cold water up to the "Calibration line" mark. Then press the "Mood" (or "Mode") button. Several options will appear—press the "Mood" (or "Mode") button repeatedly until you reach the "Calibrate" option. Next, use the up/down buttons to set the elevation of your city above sea level, approximately 70 meters higher or lower. This step is critically important to ensure optimal extraction and a rich, delicious coffee flavor. No other coffee machine offers this feature—here, consistent performance is guaranteed. 2. Use your preferred recipe for a cup of coffee, specifying the amount of coffee grounds, water volume, and grind size. Refer to the full-batch brewing instructions: for example, use 60–70 grams of coffee. For the built-in filter, use a relatively coarse grind; for paper filters, use a slightly less coarse grind. Add the ground coffee into the filter. 3. Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir up to the maximum recommended level or line indicated on the machine. 4. Press the "Mood" (or "Mode") button to select your preferred automatic brew time setting for future use. Then choose your desired pre-infusion duration—30 seconds is recommended. Next, select the water temperature; optimal range varies by coffee but generally falls between 88°C and 92°C. Once all settings are complete, press the "Start" button. 5.
