9Old Nikon F-401 film camera New in original packaging, never used Nikon F-401 camera equipped with Nikkor AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5 lens. Nikon F-401 is a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera designed for beginners, featuring autofocus, manufactured by Nikon and released in 1987. This camera represented one of Nikon's first attempts in consumer autofocus technology, complementing Nikon's first autofocus SLR camera launched in 1986, the Nikon F-501. The built-in exposure meter simplifies photography. The camera is designed for films with ISO speeds ranging from 25 to 5000. Film speed is read automatically via the DX code on the film cartridge inside the camera. As with most SLR cameras, exposure is measured through the lens. Aperture and shutter speed are set automatically and cannot be changed. However, the photographer can freely adjust aperture and shutter speed manually. The 'Bulb' mode can be used for long exposures, keeping the shutter open for as long as required. The built-in flash can be used in low-light conditions, and an external flash can be connected via the 'Hot Shoe' port. The 35mm camera comes with a tripod cable and includes a built-in self-timer.
