In this session, I will review the biological and psychological aspects of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and discuss pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options. I will address the neural circuits associated with attention and focus, emphasizing the pivotal role of dopamine in regulating and directing the concentration process. I will also discuss non-pharmacological approaches such as dietary supplements and behavioral training as supportive methods to enhance attention.
