Description

Roles & Responsibilities Operate a skid steer (bobcat) to load, transport, and unload materials. Operate mobile or fixed cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads. Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on both skid steer and crane equipment. Ensure all loads are secure and properly balanced before moving or lifting. Work in coordination with ground crews and other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow all safety regulations, site policies, and operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of operations, loads moved, and equipment inspections. Identify and report any faults or safety hazards immediately. Support general site operations as needed. Desired Candidate Profile Valid skid steer operator certification. Current Crane Operator Licence (e.g., C6, C1, CO – depending on load capacity). Proven experience operating both skid steer and cranes in a construction, industrial, or transport setting. Strong understanding of load management, lifting techniques, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret load charts and lifting plans. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
