The host has spent years as a commentator for car racing, but has been forced to take this job on a cooking show to help lower their blood pressure. The Host gets in the Cook’s way a lot in the kitchen, runs a play by play of events, and even comments on the time even though it’s not that kind of show. The Host is also BFFs with the Judge, who is an international pop singing sensation. **Audition Lines:** “Welcome everyone to Cooks Cooking, Cooking Cooks! I’m your host, Corrie Chatty, and we have an exciting show here today full of wild twists, crazy turns, and a race to the dinner table before hunger strikes!” “Ladies and gentleman, you can see the beads of sweat on his face. How is he going to tenderize that meat without any tools? Will he punch it with his fists? Will he massage it with his elbows? Should he sit or step on it? The clock is ticking! Tick, tock, tick, tock, how is the chef getting out of this one?” *** **COOK, COOLLIE CRUNCHY** **Description:** Anxious, methodical, accountant-type who hates their desk job and wants to delve into the more exciting culinary field. The cook is talented and sees this show as the launching point to their new career. However, the cook is quick to panic when things don’t go their way, they mutter a lot, and they can’t concentrate with the host breathing down their neck and their ex watching nearby. As a result, the cook unintentionally puts too much salt in the stew. **Audition Lines:** “I’m sorry, did you say I had to cook this with no utensils? This is a joke, right? Casey? Did you put me up to this to get back at me? You know how much this means to—forget it. I got this. I can do this. I’ve made this a thousand times… wait, how am I supposed to cut this 5 pound slab of beef???” “Hi. Can you, do you mind not standing there the whole time? Still too close. Keep going. There. Thank you. One more thing. This isn’t a timed show!!!” *** **COMEDIAN, CASEY CACKLEE** **Description:** An up and coming stand-up comedian who is not entirely over their ex, the cook, and who doesn’t know how to move on. The comedian tells the cook to be on the show as a way for them to get back together, and their interaction results in lots of awkward flirting. Everyone can see the Cook is just not into the Comedian, but the Comedian keeps trying. **Audition Lines:** “I always thought you looked hot in starch. No, not the potato. You. In the uniform, silly. I like you in that outfit. Rowwwrrrr. Okay, hot potato. Do you need help peeling? No? Well, I’m right here if you need me." “Okay, fine, I’ll tell some jokes. Knock knock. Who’s there? Your memories. Remember the first time you made me this dish? I think I fell in love with you right there. Better watch out, whoever gets to try this next. It’s a love trap. And I think I’m still in it.” *** **JUDGE, CHARLI CRITEE** **Description:** An international pop singing sensation who still tries to be a celebrity of the people in a Taylor Swift kind of way. The Judge is a major people pleaser who loves to travel and loves fine dining. They went on this show bcs the other show, Hot Ones, wasn’t going to pay enough, plus they’re BFFs with the Host. Their expectations are high when they try the dish, and although it’s disgusting, the Judge makes it seem like they like it. **Audition Lines:** “It smells so good in here! This dish reminds me of the time when I first went to Paris. I just followed my nose and I ended up in one of my favorite restaurants in the whole world. Who told you all this was my favorite? I can’t wait! Mmmm mmmm mmm.” Take a spoonful and hold in a gag. “Well. That…that is something else. The texture is…intriguing. And it might be just a little too salty. I’ve been watching my cholesterol so everything’s been bland. But this?” “Hmmm. It really hits you doesn’t it? You’re, you’re quite the chef.
