Machine Operator - Laser, Punching & Bending Machines

Apt Resources is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Machine Operator in the Metal Fabrication department of our client, a leading manufacturing company. In this role, you will assist in the operation of various machinery used in metal fabrication processes, ensuring productions run smoothly and efficiently. As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will be trained to understand various metalworking processes and the functioning of various machines, while also ensuring that safety protocols and production standards are met. Responsibilities Assist in operating laser, punching, and bending machines under supervision. Help in checking measurements, cleaning metal sheets, and preparing materials for fabrication. Monitor machine operations and report performance issues. Receive products and raw materials from the warehouse and request additional supplies as needed. Support production goals by following schedules and ensuring timely outputs. Keep the workspace clean and adhere to safety and operational standards. Requirements High School Diploma or vocational certificate in a mechanical or technical field. At least 1 year of experience supporting machine operations in a manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of technical drawings and fabrication processes. Physically fit, able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift medium to heavy objects frequently. Good English communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities Operate a skid steer (bobcat) to load, transport, and unload materials. Operate mobile or fixed cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads. Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on both skid steer and crane equipment. Ensure all loads are secure and properly balanced before moving or lifting. Work in coordination with ground crews and other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow all safety regulations, site policies, and operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of operations, loads moved, and equipment inspections. Identify and report any faults or safety hazards immediately. Support general site operations as needed. Desired Candidate Profile Valid skid steer operator certification. Current Crane Operator Licence (e.g., C6, C1, CO – depending on load capacity). Proven experience operating both skid steer and cranes in a construction, industrial, or transport setting. Strong understanding of load management, lifting techniques, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret load charts and lifting plans. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Communicate and coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and projects. 2. Track, follow up, and report on operational workflows, KPIs, and deadlines. 3. Collect and analyze operational data using Excel; generate accurate and actionable reports. 4. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and business documents in Chinese and English. 5. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in processes and systems. 6. Support logistics, procurement, and inventory tracking as needed. 7. Translate and interpret between Chinese and English when necessary for operations-related tasks. Qualification: 1. Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and Native in Arabic. 2. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts). 3. Solid understanding of data analysis and operational reporting. 4. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. 5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 6. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. 7.
