In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, as well as one of the main deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they personally believe in them. Here, individuals tend to care about "what people think" to a degree that may exceed their concern for themselves, ranging from daily behaviors to life-changing decisions. Many of us do not necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus it's not entirely within their control to disregard others' opinions about them. We will explore this topic from entirely different angles, attempting to dive deep into the idea, broaden our perspectives, and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest ideas, then switch to another person until six rounds are completed.
