Khobar Book Club - Slaughterhouse Five

Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut is considered "one of the world’s great antiwar books" The novel is the result of what Kurt Vonnegut has described as a twenty-three-year struggle to write a book about what he had witnessed as an American prisoner of war. It combines historical fiction, science fiction, autobiography, and satire. Slaughterhouse Five is a novel about Billy Pilgrim who's a barber’s son turned draftee turned optometrist turned alien abductee. In this session we will be delving into another one of Kurt's novels however this time with a different theme.
