In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most significant drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the primary deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they personally believe in them. Individuals among us often consider "what people think" to a degree that may even surpass their regard for themselves, from daily behaviors to life-altering decisions. Many of us do not necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus have little control over not caring about others' opinions of them. We will discuss this matter from entirely different angles, attempting to delve deeply into the concept to broaden our understanding and freely express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest perspectives, then switch to another person, completing six rounds in total.
