Octopus by RTG is hiring an Informatica Expert Resident Engineer for our partner, offering a great opportunity to contribute to innovative projects. Job overview We are seeking an experienced Informatica Expert with a strong background in Data Privacy Management (DPM) and Axon Data Governance to serve as a Resident Engineer for a prestigious data transformation initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is a full-time on-site engagement for 12 months, supporting the end-to-end implementation and operationalization of enterprise-level data governance systems within a major university setting. Responsibilities Lead the deployment and configuration of Informatica tools including Data Catalog, Data Privacy Management (DPM), and Axon Data Governance. Support the development and rollout of a comprehensive Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) and data governance operating model. Activate and maintain the Business Glossary and Data Dictionary to ensure consistent data definitions and standards. Embed organizational data policies and procedures within the Informatica platform. Design and implement workflow processes and data quality monitoring dashboards. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing university systems and complete data oversight. Serve as the on-site Informatica subject matter expert, providing training, documentation, and ongoing operational support. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in data management, classification, and protection. Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Data Governance suite, especially: Data Catalog Data Privacy Management (DPM) Axon Prior work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is highly preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical domains.
