As an Industrial Computer Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that push technological boundaries and drive innovation in the field. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain computer systems that improve industrial operations Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects Develop and configure control systems and software relevant to industrial processes Oversee system integration tasks and perform rigorous testing Troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively Ensure systems comply with industry standards and quality assurance protocols Provide ongoing technical support to clients and stakeholders Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in the field of industrial computing Requirements Has experience in IT system setup , integration and network operation . Provide commissioning, startup, and maintenance support of workshop networks and systems. Liaise with area Information Technology personnel to address interface between workshop, Corporate networks and third-party vendors. Address issues related to workshop's networks and control systems. Participate, if requested by Corporate Security Services, in investigating breaches within the plant operating facility. Serve as the find technical expert for plant or operating facility in the fields of workshop automation and control systems, networking and systems. Demonstrate good grasp of hardware interfacing and instrumentation techniques, -SAP Plant Connectivity, IOT platforms likes Thingworx, Building management systems, software scripting and/or security configuration. Solve and provide direction to solving complex technical problems. Specify hardware, software and application functionality. Manage workshop networks and systems including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, and other devices and components. Configure and maintain the OLE for Process Control (OPC) server. Develop software scripts for automating software installations. Install new process controls network system components. Configure and support patch management systems for the plant networks and systems. Perform hardware and software upgrades, backups, restore procedures and document disaster recoveries, perform software modifications, database and process historian administration. OTHER* MSCE Certification, other equivalent network administration certification, or successful demonstration of equivalent skills. * CompTIA Network+ Certification (or equivalent skills) * CompTIA Security+ Certification (or equivalent skills) * Excellent command of written and spoken English. * Familiarity with maintenance processes in a manufacturing workshop environment.
