Lecture 393: Oratory among the Arabs

There is no denying that the Arabs had exceptional oratory skills before Islam, as oratory stems from emotional reactions arising from events affecting communities. The Arab society was never free from such events. They were naturally inclined to boast about noble traits of nobility, such as repelling injustice and protecting neighbors, as well as taking pride in the glory of their ancestors, tribe, and clan.
