Lecture 393: Oratory among the Arabs

There is no denying that the Arabs possessed excellent oratory skills before Islam, for oratory arises from emotional responses triggered by events affecting communities. The Arab society was never devoid of such events. They were inherently inclined to boast about noble traits of honor, such as resisting injustice and protecting neighbors, as well as taking pride in the glory of their ancestors, tribe, and clan.
