Join Master-Works as a Data Governance Consultant and play a critical role in shaping our clients' data management strategies. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will help organizations drive data-driven decision-making while maintaining the highest governance standards. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to client needs. • Conduct assessments of existing data governance practices and identify improvement opportunities. • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote awareness and adherence to data governance standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability. • Monitor and report on compliance with data governance policies, recommending corrective actions as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or consulting. • Strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). • Proven ability to analyze complex data systems and recommend actionable improvements. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Preferred Qualifications: • Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are advantageous. • Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms for managing data quality and compliance. • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
