Introducing new features to its ultra-capable smartwatch, marking a significant milestone in Apple's environmental initiative. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 retains all the capabilities users love in the Ultra model, plus the powerful new S9 chip with integrated system-in-package (SiP) technology, the enchanting new double-tap gesture, its brightest-ever display from Apple, an expanded altitude range, on-device Siri, Precision Finding for iPhone, and advanced water sports capabilities. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 runs watchOS 10, which features newly designed apps, the "Smart Stack" feature, new cycling experiences and features designed to assist with outdoor activities, and a new watch face named Modular Ultra. In addition to all these new updates, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 delivers the same battery life: up to 36 hours under typical usage and up to 72 hours in low-power mode. For the first time, customers can choose a carbon-neutral Apple Watch option. These new products represent a significant step toward Apple's 2030 goal—a plan Apple is pursuing to become carbon neutral across its entire supply chain and product life cycle by 2030.
