In our societies, reputation and others' opinions are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the main deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they personally believe in them. Here, individuals consider "what people think" to such an extent that it may surpass their concern for themselves, ranging from daily behaviors to life-changing decisions. Many of us don't necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus have little control over being indifferent to others' opinions about them. We will discuss this matter from entirely different angles, attempting to dive deep into the idea to broaden our perspectives and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest viewpoints, then switch to another person until six rounds are completed. Afterwards, we will form small groups (3–4 people) to continue discussions on the same topic. ⏳ Time: Sunday, September 14, from 8:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
