In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the primary deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they are personally convinced of them. Here, individuals often consider 'what people think' to a degree that may exceed their regard for themselves, ranging from daily behaviors to life-changing decisions. Many of us do not necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and therefore it's not entirely within their control to disregard others' opinions about themselves. We will discuss this matter from entirely different angles, attempting to delve deeply into the concept to broaden our perspectives and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest viewpoints, then switch to another person until six rounds are completed.
