In our societies, reputation and others' opinions are among the most important drivers of behavior for the vast majority of individuals, and among the main deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they are personally convinced of them. Here, individuals consider 'what people think' to such an extent that it may surpass their regard for themselves, from daily behaviors to life-changing decisions. Many of us do not necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus cannot entirely disregard others' opinions about themselves. We will discuss this matter from entirely different perspectives, attempting to dive deep into the idea, broadening our understanding, and expressing our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another individual for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest ideas, then switch to another person until six rounds are completed. Afterwards, we will form small groups (3–4 people) to continue discussions on the same topic. ⏳ Time: Sunday, September 14, from 8:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
