Engage with regulatory authorities and external organizations to champion best practices in health, safety, and welfare. Ensure compliance with national and international health and safety legislation and industry standards across all projects and operations. Advocate for employee well-being, implementing programs and initiatives that support mental and physical health. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous. Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in health and safety management, particularly in large-scale projects and complex environments. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and welfare legislation, standards, and best practices. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing health and safety strategies that align with organizational goals. Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of influencing positive change in safety culture. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Professional certifications in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) are highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities seamlessly.
