Maxus T60 is a mid-size pickup truck manufactured by SAIC Motor under the Maxus brand since November 2016. It is SAIC's first pickup truck built for the global market and the first Chinese-made pickup truck to achieve a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. In April 2019, its successor, the Maxus T70, was unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2019. The vehicle was not the company's first pickup truck, as SAIC Motor previously produced pickup trucks based on the Shanghai SH760; however, with over 20 years of difference in production, the SH760 trucks are not considered a direct predecessor to the T60 series. The Maxus T60 is essentially the same as the MG T60, but with Maxus branding and unique design touches. The vehicle comes with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, powered by either a gasoline or diesel engine. It is available in 4 variants.
