In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the main deterrents preventing them from engaging in many actions—even if they personally believe in them. Here, individuals often care about 'what people think' more than they care about themselves, from daily behaviors to life-changing decisions. Many of us don't necessarily see this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and thus it's not entirely within their control to disregard others' opinions about themselves. We will discuss this matter from entirely different angles, attempting to dive deep into the idea, broaden our perspectives, and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another person for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest ideas, then switch to another person. This will continue for 6 rounds. Afterwards, we will form small groups (3–4 people) to continue discussions on the same topic. ⏳ Time: Sunday, September 14, from 8:15 PM to 10:45 PM. We will remain available afterward for informal conversation. 📍 Location: Coffee Planet 💰 Fee: Only 30 SAR Transfer via STC PAY to this number: 0556349749 ⚖️ Event Guidelines: ✔️ Open discussion for all opinions, with respect for differing viewpoints ✔️ We focus our discussion on philosophy and life, avoiding religious and political issues ✔️ Please arrive on time
