In our societies, reputation and what others say are among the most important drivers of behavior for the majority of individuals, and among the main deterrents preventing them from acting on many impulses—even if they personally believe in them. Here, individuals often consider "what people think" to a degree that may exceed their regard for themselves, from daily actions to life-changing decisions. Many of us don't necessarily view this as negative, given that humans are inherently "social beings," and therefore, it's not entirely within their control to disregard others' opinions about them. We will explore this topic from entirely different angles, attempting to dive deep into the concept to broaden our perspectives and express our thoughts in a space free from judgment and labeling. Discussion Format: Each person will discuss the topic with another for 9–10 minutes to hear more transparent and honest ideas, then switch to a new partner until six rounds are completed.
