Senior/Staff Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analytics with deep experience in data science, data warehousing and BI. This role will lead a team of data analysts and analytics engineers, shaping the direction of our data strategy and ensuring that business decisions are powered by reliable, scalable data infrastructure. You’ll be instrumental in driving data maturity across the company — balancing quick business wins with long-term architectural investments. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of analytics engineers, data engineers and data scientist Oversee the development of the data warehouse and transformation layer (e.g., dbt) Define the vision for how data is structured, accessed, and used across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful insights and scalable data products Own key initiatives such as self-serve analytics, metric standardization, and data quality frameworks Establish best practices for data governance, reporting, and visualization Drive the adoption of self-service analytics tools to democratize data access and empower stakeholders across the organization Build operational excellence within the data team through process improvements, best practices, and training Contribute to hiring and team growth by attracting and developing top data analytics talent Requirements 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, BI or related roles, including 2+ years of leadership Strong command of SQL, data modeling, and data architecture  Experience building and managing data platforms using dbt, modern warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.), and visualization tools Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical work in fast-paced environments Ability to balance strategic thinking with technical execution Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into business value Proficiency working in Arabic is a plus Experience in ecommerce or fintech Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling or AI Experience working in the GCC

Roles & Responsibilities · Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in hot kitchen operations with international cuisine, preferably in A La Carte outlets within 5 Star hotels. · Strong expertise in preparing meat, poultry, seafood, sauces, and daily specials to 5-star standards. · Ability to supervise, train, and support a small culinary team. · Creative approach to menu execution while maintaining consistency and quality. · Knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen hygiene standards. · Excellent understanding of HACCP, hygiene, and food safety practices. Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Wuzzuf Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to warehouse activities and inventory levels. Qualifications & Requirements Education: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Wuzzuf Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or inventory control, preferably within the food or retail industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with warehouse management software is a plus. Wuzzuf Language Skills: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous. Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities -Equipment Installation and Commissioning Responsible for the installation, commissioning, and configuration of electrical and instrumentation systems for new equipment, ensuring they meet production requirements. -Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, promptly identify and resolve system issues to ensure continuous and safe production. -System Calibration and Testing Use standard testing instruments to calibrate equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. -Documentation and Reporting Maintain maintenance records and prepare fault analysis reports to support equipment management and improvement. -Safety and Compliance Follow all relevant safety regulations and operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications / Requirements Education: Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment in an industrial environment. Technical Skills: Familiar with electrical control systems, PLCs, DCS, VFDs, and other instrumentation equipment operation and maintenance. Certifications: Relevant electrical or instrumentation certifications are preferred. Language and Communication: Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

Key Responsibilities -Equipment Preparation and Setup Prepare and set up machines according to production requirements, ensuring proper operation. -Operation and Monitoring Operate machinery during production and continuously monitor performance to ensure efficiency and product quality. -Quality Inspection Regularly inspect produced products to ensure they meet quality standards and promptly address any defects. -Maintenance and Cleaning Perform daily equipment maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in good condition and reduce downtime. -Troubleshooting and Repairs Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair of equipment when issues arise, and coordinate with technicians if needed. -Record Keeping and Reporting Accurately record production data and machine performance, and report any abnormalities to supervisors. -Compliance with Safety Regulations Strictly follow operational procedures and safety standards to ensure personal and team safety. Qualifications / Requirements Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or vocational training; relevant technical certificates are a plus. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in machine operation or a related field. Skills: Familiarity with production processes and machinery; ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, scales); good analytical and numerical skills. Physical Requirements: Good physical stamina and endurance to handle the demands of the job. Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
