The Purchasing Supervisor will play a vital role in managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the company’s purchasing needs are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the purchasing department and procurement processes. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and service. Analyze purchasing trends and inventory levels to forecast future purchasing needs. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, and finance) to align purchasing strategies with business goals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement. Monitor supplier performance and take necessary actions to ensure supply chain reliability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Key Responsibilities -Equipment Installation and Commissioning Responsible for the installation, commissioning, and configuration of electrical and instrumentation systems for new equipment, ensuring they meet production requirements. -Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, promptly identify and resolve system issues to ensure continuous and safe production. -System Calibration and Testing Use standard testing instruments to calibrate equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. -Documentation and Reporting Maintain maintenance records and prepare fault analysis reports to support equipment management and improvement. -Safety and Compliance Follow all relevant safety regulations and operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
