The Payment Getaways Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and performance of the company's payment processing ecosystem. You will lead a team of payment specialists to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient payment transactions for the company's merchants and customers. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, address challenges, and optimize the payment infrastructure is integral to supporting the company's business growth. Responsibilities Manage a team of payment specialists responsible for processing, reconciling, and monitoring transactions Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance Analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants and providers to resolve payment-related issues Collaborate with the Fraud Risk Analytics team to develop fraud detection and prevention measures Identify automation and integration opportunities to streamline operations Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs and report on the health of the payment ecosystem Contribute to the development and enhancement of payment-related platform features Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to cross-functional teams Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and implement necessary changes Partner with Product Managers to drive innovation and improve user experience Manage and develop the team to operate 24x7x365 financial support and payment processes Support launches of new payment options and partner onboarding Requirements ● Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Finance, or a related field ● 5+ years of Payment Getaways Operations management experience, preferably in e-commerce or financial services ● Strong understanding of payment processing workflows, gateways, and integrations ● Familiarity with industry regulations, security standards, and fraud prevention strategies ● Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and process optimization ● Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills ● Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of payment specialists ● Effective communication and stakeholder management skills ● Experience with reconciliation, dispute resolution, and chargeback management ● Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and databases ● Ability to understand business operations and their impact on the finance team ● Vital research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills ● Experience with B2C technology, fintech, and/or payment services is advantageous
