The dove chick was weaned at approximately two and a half months, nearly three months old. Very tame and affectionate, enjoys being petted, and is accustomed to eating home food. The bird's wing is tied so it doesn't fly far because it spends most of its time with the children. It walks around the house normally; the owner has no fear of it whatsoever.
