The screen does not respond to its buttons; however, when powered on, it measures speed only, and operates on batteries or via an electric cable—requiring such a cable. If you walk, its sound is loud; it likely needs lubrication. There is a crack in the plastic at the rear of the device, which does not affect functionality; it is clearly shown in the video.
