Role Overview: The Qiddiya Investment Company, a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, is looking for a Senior Manager for Strategic Procurement. This role aims to oversee and enhance the procurement function essential for delivering one of the nation’s flagship projects focused on entertainment, culture, and tourism. As a Senior Manager, you will develop effective procurement strategies, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business objectives while managing key supplier relationships. This position entails collaborating with various departments to guarantee that procurement practices are efficient and cost-effective while maintaining high standards of quality. You will have a pivotal role in influencing the procurement function to support the company's ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement Strategy Development · Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the strategic goals of the Qiddiya project. · Identify and apply best practices for sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management to drive optimal results. 2. Supplier Development and Management · Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. · Negotiate contracts and terms to secure advantageous agreements for the company. · Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established metrics. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and align them with strategic objectives. · Engage in cross-departmental discussions and initiatives to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes. 4. Risk Management · Assess risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. · Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to proactively address potential challenges. Requirements · A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. · A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in large-scale, complex projects. · Strong expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and procurement processes. · Proven ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with corporate goals. · Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset capable of making informed decisions. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
