Description
General job objective:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and data submitted within financing applications by reviewing and auditing financial documents and verifying their compliance with approved policies, regulations, and standards.
Key responsibilities and duties:
A. Financial auditing and verification:
Review financial documents attached to financing applications such as (financial statements, tax returns, cash flow statements, guarantee documents, etc.)
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of information provided in applications and compliance with established standards
B. Compliance verification:
Ensure beneficiaries adhere to relevant accounting and financial regulations
Identify any indicators of fraud or material errors and submit necessary reports
C. Report preparation:
Prepare detailed audit reports for each case, including observations, recommendations, and assessment of potential risks
Contribute to periodic project performance reports
D. Technical support:
Provide technical advice to the financial and advisory team regarding proper financial auditing practices
Support the project manager and reporting team in ensuring the quality of financial deliverables
Requirements
Educational qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Professional certifications such as (CPA - Certified Public Accountant, SOCPA - Saudi Organization of Certified Public Accountants, or CIA - Certified Internal Auditor) are preferred
Required experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial auditing, accounting, or financial statement review
Familiarity with preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax reports
Experience in developmental or cultural sectors is preferred
Required skills:
Excellent and precise financial analysis and auditing skills
Ability to detect financial errors and irregularities
Proficiency in using Excel and accounting software
Professional report writing skills in both Arabic and English
