Description

The Thuraya XT Pro satellite phone comes equipped with standard smartphone features, including but not limited to a speakerphone, contact address book, alarm clock, calculator, calendar, call logs, group calling, and much more. Advanced functionalities place this satellite phone in a superior category of satellite devices. It features a multi-directional antenna enabling full walk-and-talk capability, eliminating the need to remain stationary to acquire and maintain satellite signal. It even provides call notifications when the satellite signal is weak or when the antenna is stowed. With its dedicated SOS button—operable whether the satellite phone is powered on or off—it ensures you are never stranded during emergencies or distress situations. Upon SOS activation, an alert (via voice call and/or SMS) will be sent to a pre-programmed number. The XT Pro was the first satellite phone to integrate all three major navigation systems: GPS, BeiDou (using China's satellite navigation system), and GLONASS (a global alternative to GPS). Communication and messaging services provide the means to make voice calls, send/receive SMS, fax, and access internet services. You can also connect a laptop or PC to access satellite-based internet when terrestrial networks are unavailable.
