What We Are Looking For Persado is seeking an Arabic (Northern dialect) Content Localiser & Proofreader to join our growing team as a Freelance Contractor. This role focuses on content tailored for the dialect spoken in the Northern regions of Saudi Arabia, particularly near the borders with Jordan and Iraq. What You Will Work On Collaborate with Brand Content Strategists to understand client requirements and campaign objectives. Assist in crafting compelling content that inspires action, ensuring adherence to brand voice and tone. Carefully proofread and edit content to ensure flawless spelling, grammar, and syntax for the Nothern dialect-speaking audience. Ensure that client revisions and tone of voice guidelines are accurately implemented. Ensure compliance with our clients' complex brand guidelines and legal requirements. Support with content harmonization where overlap with other regional dialects exists. What You Bring 1. Language & Expertise Exceptional command of Arabic and the Northern dialect, with a deep understanding of usage in regions close to Jordan and Iraq. A background in Arabic Language, Translation, Linguistics, Journalism, or a related field is highly preferred. Flawless writing and proofreading skills tailored to the Northern dialect, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to content quality. Knowledge of other Arabic dialects (Hijazi, Najdi, Gulf, or Southern) is a strong plus. 2. Experience & Industry Knowledge 2-4 years of copywriting/proofreading experience Experience in B2C digital marketing or advertising Familiarity with brands that have a strict tone of voice and legal guidelines Awareness of cultural references, media, and local expressions common to Northern Saudi Arabia 3. Marketing & Content Creation Ability to adopt and maintain brand voice across different clients Experience with multiple marketing channels (paid media, email, web, SMS, direct mail) 4. Technical & Software Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of CMS, HTML, graphic design, and email platforms (preferred) 5. Work Environment: Promote a positive work environment by ensuring open communication and maintaining tidy work areas. Respect and uphold the artistic integrity of the costume and uniform designs, wigs, accessories, and shoes. Daily Operations: Follow daily costume washing rotation and uniform distribution protocols, efficiently reporting issues or suggestions to the Team Leader or Assistant Manager. Assist performers during show calls, validations, and training sessions, including quick changes and dressing needs. Preset and reset performer costumes, headpieces, wigs, accessories, and shoes before, during, and after performances. Perform general maintenance and repairs on costumes and accessories. Technical Expertise: Have experience and working knowledge in effective fitting techniques and efficient alterations. Possess a clear understanding and knowledge of a wide range of fabrics, including neoprene, stretch materials, vinyls, foam, Plast azote, foils, and thermoplastics. Demonstrate professional knowledge and experience in pattern cutting and manipulation, including documenting and record-keeping of all pattern notes and modifications. Possess professional expertise in head wrapping, prototyping headpieces, accessories, and customizing footwear. Knowledge of electronics and metalwork is a key advantage. Be responsible for construction techniques and costume construction for costumes, accessories, millinery, and footwear as required. Coordination & Documentation: Attend daily shift meetings to focus on priorities and understand the day’s show schedule. Maintain and update all wardrobe inventory records, costume plots, and relevant documentation. Help train and integrate new Wardrobe Ambassadors. Report changes in individual tracks to the Team Leader. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety policies, participating in scheduled health and safety training. Actively observe and maintain safety procedures within the park, backstage, and dressing rooms. Supportive duties: Assist in integrating new costume items into the production and support promotional events or photo shoots. Requirements Education: High school or technical diploma in a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a theatrical wardrobe or costuming role. Skills: Strong knowledge of costume care and maintenance. Proven ability to manage and coordinate tasks calmly and efficiently. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull during shifts. Ability to lift up to 15kg. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
