Role Overview: The organization is a flagship gigaproject under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aiming to create a world-class entertainment, cultural and lifestyle destination. As a multibillion-dollar project, it will encompass vast infrastructure development, hospitality, retail and service sectors, which requires effective and large scale management of supplier relationships and supply chain risks. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Supply Chain Risk to join the core leadership team of a transformative giga project. This role is critical to ensuring resilience, transparency, and continuity across an expansive, complex, and multi-tier global supply chain. The successful candidate will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of supply chain risks across the supply chain for all procurement categories within the organization. Furthermore, to integrate the SC risk across the enterprise—ensuring project milestones are met without compromise to cost, quality, ethics, or timelines. Requirements 1. Supply Chain Strategic Risk Management: ·       Identify potential risks in the supply chain and assess the likelihood and impact of the risks using risk assessment frameworks. ·       Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain risk management framework tailored for giga project scale and complexity. ·       Assess the organization’s suppliers on the identified risk factors to create supplier risk profiles and a risk management plan. ·       Support implementation of mitigation strategies and contingency plans to manage the identified risks and ensure business continuity. ·       Monitor external factors, such as regulatory changes, natural disasters, or market trends, that could disrupt the supply chain. ·       Identify geopolitical, financial, operational, cybersecurity, ESG, and regulatory risks across the global supply base. ·       Establish and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) aligned with the Business Units’ risk appetite.   2. Internal Stakeholder Engagement: ·       Collate information from all business teams on their supply chain needs, their supplier’s risk performance to consolidate the organization’s overall supply chain dependencies. ·       Support awareness sessions for the business teams to learn how to report supplier / supply chain risks to the SRM/SCR team, and to ensure business continuity in case of supply chain disruptions.   3. Supplier Due Diligence & Monitoring: ·       Lead end-to-end supplier risk assessments covering financial health, compliance history, ethical practices, and operational resilience. ·       Collaborate with procurement Business Units to embed risk screening into the onboarding and tendering process. ·       Monitor high-risk suppliers and subcontractors across Tier 1–3. 4. Team Management, Learning & Development ·       Oversee and support junior team members, ensuring professional growth through mentorship. ·       Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the SRM & SCR Team. ·       Act as a key liaison between risk management teams, procurement, operations, and legal teams. ·       Lead quarterly supply chain risk reviews across departments. 5. Business Continuity & Disruption Oversight: ·       Ensure supplier compliance with international trade laws, anti-bribery regulations, and human rights standards. ·       Integrate ESG risk factors into supplier selection, audit, and monitoring processes. Qualifications: ·       12+ years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Risk & Supply Chain roles, ideally in large-scale projects such as construction, real estate, or urban development. ·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, Law, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields. MBA and/or other advanced degrees preferred. ·       Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) ·       Experience with KSA regulatory requirements and familiarity with Vision 2030 goals is highly desirable. ·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address risks effectively. ·       Proven track record of working in cross-collaborative environments and ensuring differing goals and needs align with overarching organizational strategy. ·       Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable. ·       Understanding of the local cultural and business landscape in Saudi Arabia through work experience in the region preferred.
