1-The Panasonic BL-C160 outdoor network camera is the ideal solution for monitoring small businesses and local sites. Its weather-resistant outdoor design enables unobtrusive outdoor surveillance, while its 10x digital zoom provides additional detail when you need to isolate a specific area within the camera's field of view. Under low-light conditions, the BL-C160 camera's color night view mode automatically adjusts image brightness for compensation. When lighting conditions become so poor that the color night view mode can no longer compensate, the built-in white LED lamps on the BL-C160 camera illuminate the camera's surroundings, providing round-the-clock surveillance. Additionally, built-in motion detection and passive infrared (PIR) heat-sensing detection can alert you via email and trigger recordings of activity. Thanks to its integrated web server, live streaming from the BL-C160 can be viewed using a standard web browser on any internet-connected computer—such as Internet Explorer or Safari—and it also includes an integrated mobile viewer. 2- PANASONIC BL-C111 This camera works well and I am extremely satisfied with it. I use it on my home network, and any computer—including laptops connected to my 802.11g wireless network (via a router and wireless access point)—can monitor the video feed. Using the free DNS service "viewnetcam", I can access it while traveling. It is relatively easy to set up, but like all networking equipment, some knowledge of IP addresses and ports is required. I recommend changing the default port. Motion detection does not work when pointing the camera through a window, as one might do to monitor the front porch of your home. Their "Network Camera Recorder" software is rudimentary at best.
