The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our environmental sustainability goals and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our carbon offset projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct GIS analysis to identify suitable sites for ARR and REDD+ projects. Perform carbon stock assessments and calculate potential carbon sequestration for various tree species and planting densities. Develop and maintain spatial databases for project sites, including data on land use, vegetation cover, soil types, and other relevant factors. Analyse satellite imagery and aerial photographs to monitor land use changes and forest cover dynamics. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on GIS analysis and carbon calculation results. Collaborate with project managers, forestry experts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and methodologies for ARR and REDD+ projects.
