Our client is looking for Sales Manager to be responsible for building the sales function from the ground up, transitioning the company from a reactive to a proactive, structured sales-driven model. This role demands strategic vision, hands-on execution, and the ability to forge strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company's business objectives and market opportunities. Identify, prioritize, and build relationships across government and private sectors in Saudi Arabia, focusing on core service areas: Market Research, Data Solutions & AI, and Consulting Services. Employ consultative selling techniques to understand client needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals that drive sustainable revenue growth. 2. Business Development & Pipeline Management Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting of opportunities. Proactively generate new leads through market research, networking, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on client acquisition in both public and private sectors. Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and final contract sign-off. 3. Collaboration & Alignment Work closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to synchronize lead generation, market positioning, and branding efforts. Collaborate with internal vertical leaders (e.g., Market Research, Data Solutions & AI, Consulting Services) to tailor solutions that address client needs. Act as a key liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure clear communication, effective project delivery, and high customer satisfaction. 4. Client Relationship Management Establish strong, trust-based relationships with senior-level stakeholders, particularly within government entities and major corporations. Maintain a strategic focus on client retention by identifying evolving business challenges and aligning the company offerings accordingly. Provide regular feedback to internal teams to continuously enhance service offerings and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. 5. Leadership & Future Team Development Initially operate as a hands-on sales leader with no direct reports. As the business grows, recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, instilling best practices in consultative selling and client engagement. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in the sales function. KPIs & Success Metrics: Revenue Growth Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. New Client Acquisition : Expanding the company customer base within the target sectors. Sales Pipeline Development : Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities. Client Engagement & Retention: “ Ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Proven track record of establishing and managing a sales function in a B2B or B2G setting. 5+ years of consultative selling experience, preferably within management consulting, professional services, or technology solutions. Familiarity with government procurement processes and private sector sales in Saudi Arabia. Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven sales strategies. Ability to interpret market trends , strategic thinking and shape effective sales initiatives. Proven capability to engage with executive-level stakeholders, negotiation and close deals. Fluent in Arabic and English, with the ability to convey complex solutions clearly. Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a startup-like environment. Excels in a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization, demonstrating agility and innovation. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions.
