 General Summary The Director, Operations Set Up and Projects ensures consistency of service throughout Qiddiya Parks and Entertainment Assets by aligning with industry best practices, international standard and Qiddiya standards for Attractions Operations and general guest facilities. They manage improvement works across the asset lifespan from handover to defect / warranty period completion and lead capital projects that affect general park areas. The Director, Operations Set Up and Projects, ensures post-handover learnings from operational assets are incorporated into the design and execution of future assets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain Qiddiya Parks & Entertainment operating standards for attraction operations and general guest areas Audit Parks Operations compliance with established standards Serve as owner representative with Delivery Partners during Asset Defect & Liability Period to coordinate corrective actions while minimizing impact to the business Prepare operational briefs for operational requirements for new assets, capital expansion, and seasonal operations activities / programs. Project manage enhancement works within existing assets Oversee transition planning and assess business impact for products reaching end of life Provide operational input for new asset development, including procurement, design review, factory acceptance, testing and commissioning and operational acceptance / handover Manage new asset operational development, assisting General Manager in design review, construction progress, and value engineering acceptance. Assist with onboarding and transition of pre-opening responsibilities to Parks Operations Attractions & Guest Operations teams Represent Qiddiya Parks & Entertainment in Qiddiya / City wide initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in discipline below or related experience / certifications Professional Certifications (if required) Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other related Years of Experience More than 8 years of experience in a theme park/ resort or related industry, ideally with prior experience working in the capacity of Operational Design or Project Management
