Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and dynamic Development Director - Rides and Attractions to spearhead the design and implementation of world-class rides and attractions at our groundbreaking entertainment city. Your expertise will play a crucial role in transforming Qiddiya into an iconic destination that captivates visitors from around the globe. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for directing all phases of rides and attractions development—fostering creativity while maintaining a firm focus on quality, safety, and budget adherence. You will collaborate with a talented team to innovate experiences that delight and engage guests of all ages. Key Responsibilities Drive the conceptualization and execution of cutting-edge rides and attractions that resonate with the vision of Qiddiya. Work in conjunction with creative and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of attractions into the overall park design. Perform comprehensive market analysis to guide decision-making and optimize guest experience. Oversee project timelines and financials to guarantee projects are delivered on schedule and within the allocated budget. Build lasting partnerships with contractors, suppliers, and industry experts to enhance project execution and innovation. Adhere to safety and quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations throughout the development process. Document project progress and present updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. Pioneer a forward-thinking environment that encourages the exploration of new technologies and concepts in ride design and attractions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Extensive experience (12-15 years) in theme park development, particularly in rides and attractions design and implementation. Demonstrated track record of successful project leadership and innovation in the amusement or entertainment industry. Deep understanding of safety protocols and industry benchmarks for rides and attractions. Proficient in project management methodologies with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
