Senior Dry Utilities Design Manager

Manages the team’s deliverables through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance Leads end-to-end project management for Dry Utilities initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and providing recommendations highlighting risk and mitigation strategies. Oversees the planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of Dry Utilities for the project. Upon instruction, extend application of technical and engineering expertise beyond project Infrastructure towards achieving successful delivery of the overall project. Ensures smooth coordination with consultants, making sure they adhere to project timelines and meet the clients’ high-quality standards. Leads the design team in undertaking technical design reviews to ensure compliance with all Project Requirements and Strategy, Project, Design and Development Briefs, including innovation, optioneering and value engineering.  Leads the team to ensure design deliverables are provided by the design consultants in accordance with their contract, district and sub-district program requirements. Experience in Dialux, ETAP software and BIM Knowledge of KSA authority regulations and previous experience of liaising with and obtaining approval from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) An Engineering Master’s degree would be an advantage. Any other relevant post-graduate degrees/diplomas would also be an advantage. Professional registration in respective discipline (i.e. Chartered Engineer or similar) is necessary. Registration as a Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an advantage. A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in dry utilities project management. Proven experience planning, designing and delivery of large-scale and complex dry utilities projects. Possess a strong knowledge of design principles, techniques, and best practices related to dry utilities. Able to define design criteria, specifications and operational requirements. Experience in delivery to program, balancing competing requirements on project to deliver design outcome (e.g. cost v. time v. quality).  Previous KSA/Middle East experience will be an advantage. Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors would be an advantage. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget is necessary. Experience in coordinating and executing design activities, managing design consultants, engaging with stakeholders and coordinating design team members is crucial for this role. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and deliver results.   You should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively articulate ideas, strategies and project performance to a range of audiences, such as; clients, consultants, contractors, multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with attention to detail, are necessary. Foster a culture of Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
