Key Roles & Responsibilities Material Receipt & Verification Receive all incoming MEP and Civil materials, equipment, and consumables at site stores. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications against delivery notes, purchase orders, and approved material submittals. Check for damages, discrepancies, and expiry; raise inspection requests with QA/QC for approvals. Storage & Preservation Organize proper storage of materials with tagging, segregation, and protection as per manufacturer guidelines. Maintain safe storage conditions for sensitive MEP equipment (e.g., electrical panels, pumps, fire fighting equipment) and Civil materials (cement, steel, tiles, etc.). Ensure materials are preserved to avoid deterioration, moisture, or handling damage. Issuance & Inventory Control Issue materials to site teams only against approved requisitions and maintain proper records. Monitor consumption and maintain minimum stock levels to avoid shortages. Track tools, equipment, and consumables; maintain issue/return registers. Prevent misuse, pilferage, or wastage of materials. Documentation & ERP System Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MIR (Material Inspection Report), and issuance records in line with company procedures.
