JASARA PMC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Manager to lead our structural steel operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of structural steel engineering, from design review and procurement to fabrication and erection on-site. You will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. You will be an important liaison between the project management team and various stakeholders, including contractors and supply chain partners, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. Responsibilities Direct and manage all aspects of structural steel projects, including project planning, execution, and quality assurance. Review and approve design and shop drawings for all structural steel components. Lead quality control initiatives and ensure all materials and workmanship meet applicable standards. Coordinate with design engineers and architects to address any project discrepancies. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project delivery goals. Implement and enforce safety protocols across all operations. Conduct site inspections and oversee installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications. Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver successful project outcomes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in structural steel management or a similar role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale structural steel projects. In-depth knowledge of structural steel standards, codes, and construction methods. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards. Experience in the Middle East construction market is a plus.

Key Responsibilities -Equipment Preparation and Setup Prepare and set up machines according to production requirements, ensuring proper operation. -Operation and Monitoring Operate machinery during production and continuously monitor performance to ensure efficiency and product quality. -Quality Inspection Regularly inspect produced products to ensure they meet quality standards and promptly address any defects. -Maintenance and Cleaning Perform daily equipment maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in good condition and reduce downtime. -Troubleshooting and Repairs Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair of equipment when issues arise, and coordinate with technicians if needed. -Record Keeping and Reporting Accurately record production data and machine performance, and report any abnormalities to supervisors. -Compliance with Safety Regulations Strictly follow operational procedures and safety standards to ensure personal and team safety. Qualifications / Requirements Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or vocational training; relevant technical certificates are a plus. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in machine operation or a related field. Skills: Familiarity with production processes and machinery; ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, scales); good analytical and numerical skills. Physical Requirements: Good physical stamina and endurance to handle the demands of the job. Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
