The Senior Manager – Engineering Management will ensure the development of effective strategies, engineering management plans, engineering activities schedule (including critical and strategic milestones), risk identification and mitigation plans, resource strategy, forecast resource plans, stakeholder management plan, communication plan, report preparation & presentation and compliance with applicable Neom standards & practices reporting plan. Key Responsibilities: ·       Identify, develop, implement and manage the engineering strategies, engineering management plan, engineering deliverables schedule, risk management plan, stakeholder management plan, communication plan, reporting plan, needed to meet the requirements of the project. ·       Providing engineering work output, expertise and guidance to ensure project engineering outcomes are effectively delivered in support of the Project Manager/Director ·       Ensure compliance with relevant Neom codes, standards and practices. ·       Collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors, to achieve the projects outcomes and objectives. ·       Drive project engineering success, foster innovation, and ensure fit-for-purpose engineering solutions are identified and delivered. ·       Monitoring and reporting the progress of all engineering activities in relation to the project in accordance with management requirements. ·       Prepare scopes of work, evaluate technical proposals for related engineering services or construction works. ·       Provide all necessary engineering support. Essential skills: ·       Proven track record of leading engineering projects and/or an office for a major contractor, consultant and/or developer delivering significant of work. ·       Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal. ·       Ability to negotiate efficiently and effectively. ·       Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and coordinating multiple teams across the various stages of a project’s lifecycle. ·       Ability to be a team player that motivates and educates other team members and comprehends complex, technical subjects. ·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals. ·       Excellent knowledge of, and conversant with, development of concept strategies, development programs and business cases for large building projects. ·       Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Facilitates the coordination of interfaces between projects within the district and all the Sub-Districts. Infrastructure. Assists with the evaluation of RFP proposals and provides necessary support to the various business teams. Assists, prepares and presents both progress reports and stage gate presentations for each project, highlighting key milestones, challenges, programmes, designs, costs / budgets and achievements. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, with minimum 10 years, preferably 15 years, work experience in Dry utilities (Electrical HV, MV, LV and Streetlighting) networks, and telecom ducting network design Strong technical review skills, including detailed engineering drawings, calculations and models Experience in integrated land development project with excellent understanding of interdisciplinary coordination, including Rights of way sections. Experience in Dialux, ETAP software and BIM Knowledge of KSA authority regulations and previous experience of liaising with and obtaining approval from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) An Engineering Master’s degree would be an advantage. Any other relevant post-graduate degrees/diplomas would also be an advantage. Professional registration in respective discipline (i.e. Chartered Engineer or similar) is necessary. Registration as a Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an advantage. A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in dry utilities project management. Proven experience planning, designing and delivery of large-scale and complex dry utilities projects. Possess a strong knowledge of design principles, techniques, and best practices related to dry utilities. Able to define design criteria, specifications and operational requirements. Experience in delivery to program, balancing competing requirements on project to deliver design outcome (e.g. cost v. time v. quality).  Previous KSA/Middle East experience will be an advantage. Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors would be an advantage. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget is necessary. Experience in coordinating and executing design activities, managing design consultants, engaging with stakeholders and coordinating design team members is crucial for this role. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and deliver results.   You should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
